We're a friendly bunch of locals, and we're always on the lookout for reliable, hard-working people to join the team.
Torquay Cleaning has been looking after homes, holiday properties and businesses along the Surf Coast since 2020. The team is made up of people who live in the same towns they work in, and it has grown the way small local businesses tend to - one good person at a time.
We're not a franchise and there's no call centre. You'd be working alongside the same handful of locals every week, on properties in your own neighbourhood.

What we offer
Above award rates
We pay above award rates. Cleaning done properly is skilled work, and we'd rather pay for people who do it well than churn through people who don't.
Monthly bonuses built in
Bonuses are built into the way we pay, so a good month can be worth more than the hourly rate on its own.
Two social events a year, on us
At least twice a year the whole team gets together to let our hair down - covered by us, not out of your pocket. Cleaning is often solitary work, and we don't think it should be.
Local work, close to home
Every job is on the Surf Coast - Torquay, Jan Juc, Bellbrae, Barwon Heads and the towns around them. No long commute out of the region, and all equipment and cleaning products are supplied.
What we ask
Nothing complicated, but we're straight about it up front.
You turn up
Reliability is the whole job. Clients plan their week around us, so being where you said you'd be, when you said you'd be there, matters more than anything else on this page.
You work hard and finish properly
We'd rather do fewer cleans well than more of them quickly. If it's not right we go back and fix it, so the standard is the standard whether it's the first clean or the hundredth.
Experience helps, but it is not essential
Every member of our team is trained to our standard, so we'll show you how we do things. Bring the work ethic and we can teach the rest.
A police check, before you start
We tell clients our cleaners are police-checked and insured, because they are. We'll walk you through that as part of getting started - it's nothing to worry about.

Please email us your resume, along with a short note about yourself. It comes straight to us rather than to a recruiter, and we read every one.
If your resume isn't cleaning-specific, send it through anyway - we're just as interested in how you've worked as in what you've worked on. Alongside it, it helps us to know:
